Privacy Policy

We keep this to the minimum needed to serve you an order and keep you posted:

• Contact and delivery details — name, email address, phone number and shipping/billing address.
• Account details — the email and password you use to sign in, and your saved size preferences.
• Order history — items bought, custom stitching measurements you share with us, and payment status.
• Usage information — pages viewed, products looked at, time spent on site, approximate city or region derived from your IP address, browser and device type. This is used to understand which pieces our customers love, not to identify you personally.
• Messages you send us — contact-form notes, custom-design requests and WhatsApp conversations.

We never ask for card numbers, UPI PINs, CVVs or passwords over email, phone or WhatsApp. Payments are handled by our payment gateway, and we do not store full card details on our own servers.

• To confirm, stitch, pack, ship and deliver your order.
• To send order updates — confirmation, dispatch and delivery messages.
• To answer your queries and process returns, exchanges or refunds.
• To improve our store: which silhouettes, colours and fabrics to make more of, and where the shopping experience feels awkward.
• To share new arrivals, atelier stories and offers — only where you have opted in, and you can stop any time.
• To keep the site secure and to prevent fraudulent orders.

We use small cookies and similar technologies to remember what is in your cart, keep you signed in, and remember your preferences between visits.

We also record anonymous visit analytics — pages seen, time on site, and the approximate region a visit came from. You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings; some features like the cart and sign-in will stop working if you do.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share only what is needed:

• Courier and logistics partners — name, address, phone number, to deliver your parcel.
• Payment gateway — to authorise your payment; they act under their own privacy policy.
• Our hosting and email providers — to run the store and send your receipts and updates.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, such as a valid court order or a request from law enforcement.

Your information is stored on secure servers located in India and is protected with access controls, encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted staff access. We keep account and order records for as long as you keep your account open, and for order, tax and warranty records for the period Indian law requires. Messages and custom-stitching notes are kept only as long as needed to serve the request.

You can, at any time and at no cost:

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong — you can also do this from your account page.
• Ask us to delete your account and the personal data attached to it.
• Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link, or by writing to us.

To make any of these requests, email us at info@roohragaa.com. We will respond within thirty days and may ask you to confirm your identity first. Some order details stay in our records where bookkeeping or tax law requires it.

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared information with us, write to us and we will remove it.

The site links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Those platforms have their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to read them — we are not responsible for how they handle your data.

If we change this policy in a way that affects how we use your information, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, tell registered customers by email.
